The Origin: Burnout to Creation
I built Off Days from a place many won’t admit: a toxic work environment. As a graphic designer, I experienced firsthand how creativity gets stifled under pressure, rigid expectations, and bad culture. What began as frustration turned into a mission: to reclaim creative freedom and build something meaningful — something that speaks, not just to me, but to you. By leveraging my experience as a graphic designer in a toxic work environment, I set out to create Offday with a focus on providing creative freedom and meaning to both myself and customers.
Why Offday is unique?
In India’s streetwear scene, I saw something off — nearly every “premium” label was selling generic anime prints or simplistic front-back graphics. Most brands set one price point (often ₹999+), regardless of whether the design had depth or substance. That wasn’t good enough.
At Offday, we do it differently:
- Connected Designs — our graphics flow from front to back, from corner to corner. Every panel, every seam, every corner tells part of a story.
- Symbolism & Mythology — our inspirations don’t come from clichés. We dive into Indian mythology, sigils, philosophy, and cultural motifs to build visuals with meaning.
- Trend + Identity — we craft the silhouettes people want (baggy, hoodies, crop-tops, gym boxy vests, oversized tees) and infuse them with identity, not just trends.
